David Langenfeld — Attorney

David Langenfeld practices in the areas of employment, administrative, and criminal law. In addition to representing healthcare professionals with regard to licensure issues, Mr. Langenfeld represents employees from various industries in claims and lawsuits against employers and former employers. In this area, Mr. Langenfeld is board certified as a specialist in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Langenfeld has successfully represented employees in individual and class (collective) actions in cases involving unpaid overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act and claims for wrongful termination and employment discrimination.

As a criminal law attorney, Mr. Langenfeld has won not guilty verdicts for clients charged with crimes including murder, assault, aggravated sexual assault, burglary, drug possession and DWI. In addition to his trial work, Mr. Langenfeld successfully appealed a murder conviction and obtained a new trial for his client in Espinoza v. State, 951 S.W.2d 100 (Tex.-App. Corpus Christi 1997, pet. Ref’d).
