A middle school teacher in Durham, North Carolina was suspended recently after she was found using profanity while ranting in one of her classes, an article of WNCN reported on November 11.
A statement coming from Superintendent Bert L’Homme revealed that teacher Majonica Haithcox was suspended after one of her students recorded an incident in which she was expressing her dismay with the election outcome. Unfortunately, she did so in the classroom while using excessive profanity in her language. In the recording, the eighth-grade teacher at Shepard Middle School was heard venting her frustration to students using vulgar words. L’Homme also said that Haithcox’s action of using foul language in front of her students was intolerable.
