A temporary license suspension was recently imposed on a Chattanooga attorney after he failed to address a misconduct complaint, an article of Times Free Press reported on November 8.
In the information provided by the Board of Professional Responsibility, Keith Alan Black was suspended until December 9. The board did not release further details regarding the misconduct complaint about which Black failed to respond. Due to the suspension, Black is prevented from handling new clients, and the board told him to have his existing clients reassigned. Reports revealed the Board of Professional Responsibility previously disciplined Black with suspension for failing to comply with court rulings. The Tennessee Supreme Court is expected to lift the license suspension imposed on Black.
