A lawyer in Madison has been suspended after being convicted of sexually assaulting a woman, the Journal Sentinel reported on April 16.
Reports said the Jonathan Evenson’s legal license has been suspended for 30 months after violations of “engaging in offensive personality.” Evenson sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman in his office and home after giving her alcohol and drugs in September of 2013. The lawyer was sentenced to nine months in jail and three years of probation after pleading guilty to drug and sexual-related charges.
