Michael Glyn Brown, well-known for his commercials promoting the Brown Hand Center, is on trial facing assault charges on his fourth wife. The 54 year-old ex-surgeon is accused of twisting his wife’s arm behind her back after throwing two vases and a Joanne King Herring Humanitarian award at her.
Their nanny and security guard, who were both present and witnessed the fight, testified that both of them were arguing and physically fought with one another. If Brown is charged and convicted of assaulting his wife, he could face probation to 10 years behind bars. His sentencing is more severe and could lead to felony charges since he admitted to beating his third wife in 2002. Brown currently has his medical license revoked after he tested positive for cocaine in 2006.
