A Connecticut doctor was recently accused of illegally prescribing drugs for his own use. He is currently facing 30 counts of prescribing narcotics and 14 additional counts of prescribing and selling controlled substances.
The DEA raided the man’s Connecticut office in February of last year. At the doctor’s office, they found several boxes of records that proved the man had been illegally prescribing drugs. His physician’s license was immediately suspended following the raid.
The doctor is being held in jail with a bond set at $250,000. His court date is set for April 26.
