A hospice nurse had her nursing license revoked for 20 years after admitting that she had a sexual relationship with one of her patients.
The nurse, 33-year-old Amber van Brunt, allegedly had an affair with 43-year-old patient Chris Reiter, who had been placed in her care.
The ruling was handed down by District Judge Patricia Parrish. Van Brunt’s nursing license has been suspended until August 2030. After the 20-year revocation, she may have her license reinstated if she pays a $5,000 fine.
