A Dalhart, TX doctor’s practicing license was suspended for a month starting today following charges of falsifying drug test results and possession of marijuana.
Hospital staff noticed her acting strangely while on duty at Coon Memorial Hospital on August 27. She was asked to submit a drug test but the urine she gave testers did not meet test requirements. Hospitall staff found synthetic urine and instructions on how to beat a drug test in her coat pockets.
She was relieved of duties at the hospital that day. Police searched her home and found marijuana and other controlled substances.
Her license has been suspended for a month because her continued practice is deemed a threat to public welfare.
