Therefore, it is imperative that a health care professional obtain representation through the peer review process when facing credentialing issues or the suspension or revocation of employment and privileges. Furthermore, the evidence obtained by the peer review committee can be requested and subpoenaed by the Board to further supplement and substantiate the Board’s investigation.
